Minutes of the 472 regular meeting held Tuesday, August 1, 2006, in the conference room of Auto Value Auto Parts, 9975 Horn Road, Rancho Cordova, California. Meeting was called to order by President Steve Wahab, at 7:30 p.m.

  

Another standing room only turnout.

Treasurer Matt Thurston reported a treasury balance.

Tours: Gene Hall reviewed the tour of Sutter Creek scheduled for 13 August.

Reviewed the Ford Quiz in the August newsletter.

Swap Meet: Saturday September 23rd at 9 AM is set-up. Need people to help stripe the field, set-up garbage cans, etc. Saturday night people are needed with their motor homes to spend the night. Sunday at 5 AM many people are needed to get the vendors and buyers into the area. Sunday at 1PM people are needed for clean-up. Please come to the Sept meeting for more info and to sign up for help. This is our only money maker for the year. Support it !

No further business or announcements were forthcoming so the meeting was adjourned at 8:08 p.m. followed by the raffle and cookies provided by our President, Steve Wahab.

The Early Ford V-8 Club of America, Sacramento Regional Group #4 was represented at the Mountain Ranch Day in the Park Car Show by Paula & Mike Ewing (1946 Mercury) and Judi & Dave Fibush (1949 Ford). About 70 cars were shown at this 27th annual event to raise funds for the citizen maintained park. The weather was mild and complemented by the shade of large walnut trees for the picnic area and entertainment.
