Guests were Randy & Leslie Carlock, proud owners of a ‘38 Fordor Deluxe. They are new members. I didn’t get everybody’s name. My apologies.
Our Treasurer, Matt Thurston, reported we had a healthy balance, but there were some bills.
TOURS: Ben Couch was going to help us burn some of the leftover steaks.
Matt Thurston has a shop tour planned for his place of work, Alta Sierra Bodycraft, at 2020 Taylor Road in Rocklin. Meet at Brookfield’s on Taylor & Eureka Roads, right off Highway 80 8 am for Breakfast or 9:30 for the tour.
Bruce Woodward pointed out that the annual Turlock Swap Meet was on January 27th & 28th, and has a worldwide following. (I can attest to that as I saw a commanding German fellow by the name of Schwartz wondering around, eyes as big as saucers.) On February 3rd, down LA way, Nick Alexander, world renown Woodie collector has a swap meet that has the best flathead stuff anywhere. Further info in the V-8 Times. The Grand National Roadster show is also being held the same time as Turlock, down in Pomona. February 19 - 24 at the Petersen Museum is Deuce Week, celebrating 75 years of the ‘32 Ford.
