Regional Group

Minutes of the 478th meeting held Tuesday, February 6, 2007, in the conference room of Baxter Auto Part, 9975 Horn /road, Rancho Cordova, CA. Meeting was called to order at precisely  7:30 by President Steve Chapman.

Guests were Ford Lovers. (Did not get real name.) Minutes were approved by John Asmus, seconded by Bob Kane.

TREASURER REPORT:   Matt Thurston reported our balance. He still needs to order the name tags.

TOURS: 17 People attended Ben’s “Let’s Get Rid of the Steaks” BBQ. It was cold outside, but nice and warm in the house. Matt’s Tech Tour is scheduled for the 11th. Be prepared to steel talk.

Sunday, March 11th, is the Kennedy Mine Tour. Lunch afterwards? Or to John’s house and maybe Daffodil Hill. Brookfield’s on Sunrise & Folsom Blvd at 9:30. Then meet at Mel & Fay’s in Jackson.

NEW BUSINESS:  Towe dues $150 approved. Don’t want the newsletter? Let Charlotte know. Money for the ACCC approved. Food for thought: Bill Toensing says the ACCC meetings are a lot of fun.

Andy Nantz brought up the Onstar System and how your car’s every function can be monitored by outside observers. The police, for instance, in the very near future you may get a speeding ticket in the mail for something you may have done on that lonely country road.

Gene Hall starts his Super Sunday Swap meet Sunday, February 18th.

MAIL:  40th Anniversary Award was received the National Club. Cavalcade of Cars at the Towe is Jul7 7—12, if you are interested in showing your car.
  Respectfully submitted,

Steve Wahab, Secretary Due
