Meet at Brookfields (Rancho Cordova) at 10 am
Depart promptly at 10:30 am for Volcano
Meet for lunch at 12 Noon at the Volcano Union Inn
Take back roads to Fiddletown then visit 3 (or perhaps more) wineries
There are several wineries to choose from: Karmere, Renwood, Helwig, TKC, Vino Noceto, Terre Rouge-Easton and Villa Toscano which has an array of gift and decorator items.
Driving Directions to Volcano
From Sacramento: Hwy 50 East to the Bradshaw Exit. Turn Right and stay on Bradshaw to the Hwy 16/Jackson Hwy light, Turn Left and proceed on Hwy 16.
From Brookfields: Turn left on Folsom Blvd and immediatly right on Sunrise. Stay on Sunrise to the Hwy 16/Jackson Hwy light, Turn Left and proceed on Hwy 16.
Stay on 16 to the Sutter Creek/Hwy 49 turn off (2nd flashing yellow light). Take 49 through Drytown and onto the new 49 bypass to the 2nd stop light at Ridge Rd. Turn Left. Follow Ridge Rd east. About 1 mile after NY Ranch Road, look for a Left Turn to Ridge Rd. The road deadends at the Stop Light at Hwy 88. Turn Left. You are now in Pine Grove, look for the Stockton Bank sign on your right, the very next road on your Left will be the Pine Grove-Volcano Rd. (Between Finesse Carpet and ATI) Follow this down into Volcano, pass the St. George Hotel to the Stop Sign. Turn Right, the Union Inn will be on your left.
